I have come across something absolutely fascinating as regards the origins of Blood groups. Namely, from a book written by a Dr. Peter D’Adamo in his book entitled “The Eat Right Diet”. (I think it is obtainable in some Health Shops).
Anyway, let me continue with a VERY condensed summary , , , ,
1: THE ORIGIN OF THE “O” GROUP
Going right back to Stone Age times, , , , the men went out hunting for their food, and therefore, only meat from animals was eaten. Hence, “O” stands for “Original”. As a result, the human stomach was VERY acidic in order to digest nothing else except meat. When they started to run out of animals they even then stared eating each other !!!.
2: THE ORIGIN OF THE “A”GROUP
This went on for a considerable time, until one day, someone said ”Hey!! this has gone far enough” and so some started experimenting eating wild plants and they found that certain of these were very beneficial , , , , , ,Thus the ”A” Group came into being, the “A” standing for :Agriculture.
3: THE ORIGIN OF THE “B” GROUP
Vegetables require Alkaline for digestion however, so the human body then started to develop this capability. Some people stayed on eating meat only, some swung over to vegetables only, and some ate a little of both and so a mid-range of Type “B” blood came into being.
4: THE ORIGIN OF THE RARE “AB” GROUP
We therefore finish up with ‘A’ ‘B’ and ‘O’ blood groups. Finally, a relatively more recent combination of ‘A’ and ‘B’ developed so we now get ‘AB” but this group is quite rare.
5: DON’T WORRY ABOUT BEING ‘POSITIVE’ OR ‘NEGATIVE’
Incidentally, don’t worry about being either ‘Positive’ or ‘Negative’. This will only affect you if you are going to have a baby !!!
6: THE DANGERS OF HAVING TOO MUCH ACID OR TOO MUCH ALKALINE
What most folks don’t realize however, is that Blood ‘O’ people should not try and become Vegetarians as their blood lacks Alkaline and they will also develop a huge overload of Acid. By the same token, Blood ‘A’ people are natural Vegetarians and should not eat a lot of meat as they have insufficient Acid to digest this.
7: A DRAMATIC EXAMPLE OF THIS !!
There is a dramatic story of a man who was dying of a severe stomach and intestine condition and his doctor had taken him off meat altogether. As a result, his internal organs were virtually swimming in unused excess Acid and this was causing untold damage.!!.
However, when another doctor knowledgeable with Blood Groups examined him, he immediately put him on a huge meat diet.. When the first Doctor found out, he was absolutely furious!!, , ,,, , ,But there was an immediate improvement as all the excess damaging Acid was then all mopped up in digesting the meat. Within a month the “dying man” was back on his feet (much to the consternation of the first Doctor!!).
So, dear friends, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that everyone should become fully acquainted with their Blood Group and thus be able to take the necessary steps to ensure the most suitable foods are eaten (i.e. tending towards ACID or tending towards ALKALINE).
I myself am a Type “A”, although, strangely, all the rest of my family are Group “O”. I am, therefore, a natural Vegetarian, enjoy being so, and do not miss meat in any way !!l.
